Qualifications

  • Completion of Peer Recovery Certification Program required.
  • Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery.
  • Active involvement in personal recovery and wellness.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification current or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to pass criminal background and CPS checks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑on‑one peer support, recovery coaching.
  • Help clients develop recovery goals.
  • Build trusting relationships to promote long‑term recovery.
  • Assist clients with coping skills and daily living skills.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide one‑on‑one peer support, encouragement, and recovery coaching
  • Help individuals develop and achieve their recovery goals

  • Collaborate with counselors, case managers, and clinical providers
  • Document services accurately and on time in the electronic health record
  • Advocate for clients while promoting independence and self‑sufficiency
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training

Qualifications

  • Experience working in human services, behavioral health, or customer service is a plus
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass criminal background and CPS checks
