What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served to explore, create, and meet their recovery goals. They provide consultation to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture, recognizing each member's point of view and preferences, and responding to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | Swing | Shifts: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM | Days: Monday - Friday

Compensation

Expected starting wage range is $21.00 - $22.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials based on the role's location. Starting pay depends on relevant experience above minimum requirements.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Peer Certification obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment (e.g., Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification in California)
  • One (1) year or part-time equivalent supporting members with behavioral health challenges
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
  • Successful completion of Peer Support or Peer Employment Training
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance, with willingness to use the company vehicle for client transportation
