Job summary

AMHC in Caribou is seeking a compassionate, recovery-oriented Peer Recovery Coach to provide non-clinical support to individuals pursuing recovery from substance use disorders. The role emphasizes respect, empowerment, self-direction and hope, using lived experience to support others.

The Peer Recovery Coach will engage in recovery-centered activities across community settings, offering education, advocacy, and linkage to services while modeling recovery-based care and supporting wellness

Qualifications

• Provide peer support, education, advocacy and linkage to community resources.
• Work in diverse settings to promote recovery-based care.
• Lived recovery experience preferred or willingness to identify as in recovery.
