University of Utah seeks a Medical Assistant III (Peds) to support pediatric orthopedic care across four locations: Salt Lake, Lehi, Provo, and Layton. The role involves front-desk greet, history collection, casting assistance, EMR documentation, and scheduling support.

No weekends; four-site coverage with potential to cover others. Ideal candidates have CMA or equivalent, RQI eCredential within 30 days, and 3+ years MA experience.

Qualifications

• Current CMA certification or registration.
• RQI eCredential required within 30 days of hire.
• Multiple UT clinical certifications accepted (EMT/Paramedic/CMA/RMA/NCMA).

Responsabilités

• Greet pediatric patients and families, collect medical history and ensure comfort.
• Assist with casting, dressings, and use of DME and braces.
• Maintain EMR documentation and coordinate appointments.
• Handle back-office tasks and outbound follow-up calls to maintain clinic efficiency.
