Job summary

ivyhealth seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for Early Intervention. You will work with children from birth to age three in the child's home or other natural settings, coaching families to support progress.

This per-visit role offers 5-19 hours per week with a path to part-time or potentially full-time, depending on need. You will join a supportive team dedicated to exceptional pediatric care and collaborative growth.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
  • Proof of current or pending state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • At least one year of experience working with children ages birth through three as a Pediatric OT.
  • Pediatric CPR and FA certification (infant/child CPR and in-person skills testing).
  • Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide early intervention OT services in child’s natural setting (home, daycare, community).
  • Coach and empower families to implement strategies and support child goals.
  • Collaborate with pediatric therapy team to ensure cohesive care.

Job Description: Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Early Intervention Evaluator

As an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist, you can make a positive impact on children and families! Teammates work directly with children from birth through age three and their families, using a coaching model to empower the parents to be the ones who provide the support needed and techniques to help their child succeed and achieve their goals. Services are provided in the child's natural setting, such as their home, daycare, or community setting. This is a per visit position (5-19 hours per week) with the opportunity to build to part time or potentially full time depending on need, flexibility, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
  • Proof of current or pending state licensure as a Occupational Therapist in respective state
  • At least one year of experience working with children ages 5 years and younger as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
  • All positions: Must have pediatric CPR and FA certification (includes infant/child CPR and in person skills testing)
