Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar clinical area.
• Supervisor or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Current California RN license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs patient care within one department/unit while on shift.
• Fosters an environment of patient- and family-centered care with attention to diversity.
• Collaborates with physician partners to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
• Monitors staff performance to ensure safe, quality patient care outcomes.
• Promotes the advancement of the nursing profession.
• Conducts rounds to assess care quality and gather feedback.
• Plans staffing for the next shift based on patient acuity.
• Addresses issues and communicates with management for resolution.
• Ensures shift compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Supports MemorialCare initiatives and staff engagement.
