Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation in Falls Church, VA seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for pediatric language outpatient services. This PRN role supports the Pediatrics team with afternoon hours (3pm–6:30pm) and may include full days; no weekends or holidays.

The SLP will perform evaluations, create and adjust treatment plans, document progress, and communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team while adhering to department guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders accredited by ASHA.
• Eligible for Clinical Fellowship / New Graduate eligible for CFY.
• VA Speech Language Pathologist License required on start or provisional license accepted for CFY.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required on start.

Responsibilities

• Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines.
• Select evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to diagnosis and patient age.
• Communicate with patients, families, medical staff and team members.
• Complete administrative responsibilities supporting the operating unit.
