Job summary

Pacific College seeks an ADN-RN Program, Full-Time Lead Nursing Instructor - Pediatrics. The role involves teaching didactic and clinical courses, guiding curriculum development, and supporting student outcomes.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will engage in scholarly and service activities that enhance the program and college culture. Ideal candidates hold an active California RN license, a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, and recent clinical teaching or patient-care experience.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (BRN) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Direct patient care experience within the last five years or one academic year of RN-level clinical teaching is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic coursework in nursing and evaluate student learning.
• Teach clinical courses and supervise clinical instructors.
• Manage gradebooks and ensure timely grade submissions.
• Participate in college governance, committees, and program evaluation.
• Provide mentorship to adjunct faculty and support student success.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing

Master’s Degree preferred
