Qualifications

• AS degree required for the role.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Florida licensed respiratory therapist (DOH) required.
• Level II background screening as part of employment.
• Pediatric and general respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the Pulmonary Department.
• Provide clinical support and evaluate staff performance.
• Assist with evaluating new respiratory care equipment.
• Deliver respiratory care medications and perform invasive and non-invasive ventilation, intubation, and bronchoscopy.
• Perform arterial, venous, and capillary blood sampling, including EKGs.
• Participate in emergency and critical care services, including code team response and transport.
• Support quality improvement by data collection and equipment assessment.
• Maintain proficiency across all areas of respiratory therapy.
