Pediatrician Opportunity in Red Wing, Minnesota

The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Red Wing, Minnesota, is seeking a board-certified or eligible pediatrician to join a practice of three pediatricians. The ideal candidate will have an interest in medical education, research, and clinical work.

The pediatricians will evaluate and treat children and adolescents with acute and chronic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing hospital admissions and discharges, prescribing medications, consulting with colleagues, and participating in call rotations.

Position Details:

• Call rotation of 1:6
• 4-5 days per week, averaging 18-20 patients per day
• Pediatric nurse phone triage available
• Serves approximately 350 births annually with 25 pediatric admissions
• Uses Epic EHR system
• Regular teaching opportunities
• Ongoing clinical quality improvement and research opportunities
