This academic medical center has been serving children and families in the greater Philadelphia area for more than 100 years. It is a regional integrated healthcare system with over 11,000 employees across multiple facilities, including hospitals. The center has more than 220 pediatric specialists, is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, and a Magnet-designated hospital.
The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine will oversee clinical and operational activities, including clinical coverage, staffing, and departmental development. The role involves leadership in clinical operations, policy design, practice education, staff mentorship, quality improvement, and recruitment.
This position is based in the children’s hospital, a 180-bed facility with diverse specialties and centers, including an accredited cystic fibrosis center, sleep center, airway program, and more. Currently, there are five pediatric pulmonary physicians on staff.
