The center has more than 220 pediatric specialists, is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, and a Magnet-designated hospital.

Position Description:

The Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine will oversee clinical and operational activities, including clinical coverage, staffing, and departmental development. The role involves leadership in clinical operations, policy design, practice education, staff mentorship, quality improvement, and recruitment.

This position is based in the children’s hospital, a 180-bed facility with diverse specialties and centers, including an accredited cystic fibrosis center, sleep center, airway program, and more. Currently, there are five pediatric pulmonary physicians on staff.

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania medical license (MD or DO)
• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric pulmonology
• At least 3 years of physician leadership experience
