Job summary

A healthcare provider is seeking a Pediatric Physician at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. The ideal candidate must hold a qualifying MD/DO degree and have certifications in BLS and PALS. Responsibilities include performing general medical services, maintaining medical records, and adhering to clinic procedures. Qualifications

• Must possess a full, unrestricted PA license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general medical services including diagnosis and treatment of urgent/acute diseases.
• Prepare and maintain medical records on beneficiaries.
• Follow established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic.
• Diagnose across systems including skin, respiratory, GI, neuro, and more.

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Pediatric Physician at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.

Education

Minimum Qualifications: Territories or Qualifying degree, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate or Fifth Pathway certificate for individuals who obtained premedical education in the US and received undergraduate medical education abroad.

Must have a qualifying degree MD/DO complete in the 50 states, US.

• Certifications: Current BLS and PALS (AHA or Red Cross–approved). NCCPA certification required. Certifications must remain current.
• Licensure: Full, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Board Certification: No additional board certification required.

Key Responsibilities

• Capable of performing the full range of general medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat urgent/acute diseases and injuries including:

• Become familiar with the hospital formulary.
• Prepare and maintain proper medical records on beneficiaries to whom treatment is provided in accordance with MTF procedures.
• Follow the established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic.
