Pediatric Job Opening in Columbus, MS

Located in Eastern Mississippi, approximately 90 miles from Meridian, MS, and 150 miles from Jackson, MS.

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Start date: within the next 6 months
• The group is seeking a pediatrician to rotate hospital call with the current pediatrician and maintain an office schedule.
• Office hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday, and 7am to 12pm on Fridays. The pediatrician will start at 9am and work until close.
• Responsibilities include primarily Nursery inpatient care, with occasional Pediatrics inpatient and clinic duties.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a yearly stipend for continuing education and paid days off, paid vacation and sick leave, licenses and malpractice coverage, and a daycare stipend.
• Average patients per day: 30
• Vacation time: 80 hours; Sick leave: 40 hours; Continuing education: 40 hours
• Team composition: 1 pediatrician and 2 nurse practitioners
