Job summary
A leading healthcare provider seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Hematology-Oncology clinician for an ongoing assignment in Allentown, PA. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic encounters and specific medical procedures. The candidate should hold an active PA license and have Epic experience.
Qualifications
- Active PA License required.
- DEA must remain in state.
- Willingness to transfer and maintain DEA for duration of privileges.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinic encounters for infusions, follow-ups and consults.
- Manage an average of 5-10 patients per day.
- Handle various procedures including lumbar punctures and biopsies.

- Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Assignment Length: 6-12 months
- Clinic: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
- Clinical Information:
- Outpatient: Perform clinic encounters for infusions, follow-ups and consults
- Average number of patients per clinician: varies 5-10
- Supporting staff: 5 nurses, 2 social workers, and 1 child life embedded in the clinic
- Clinic also includes infusion chairs/beds
- EMR: Epic
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
