Job summary

Grand Canyon University in Meridian, ID seeks a Lab/Clinical Nursing Faculty in Pediatrics to deliver clinical instruction and assessment in the College of Nursing. You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate with faculty, and lead grading of clinical performance, with travel to student sites as needed.

A Master's in Nursing and active RN licensure in ID or a compact state are required, plus at least 2 years in pediatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) required.
• Active RN licensure in Idaho or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years’ pediatric nursing experience.
• Collegiate-level teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces didactic content and teaches in the clinical and lab setting for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborates with content area faculty to evaluate student progress toward objectives.
• Participates in grading written and clinical/lab performance check-offs.
• Maintains compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to student clinical sites to observe performance as needed.
