Job summary

Galen College of Nursing is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Faculty for Pediatrics to educate and mentor the next generation of nurses in Texas. You will facilitate learning, implement PSLO-aligned assessments, and contribute to curriculum development under state and federal regulations.

The role requires an MSN, active RN licensure, and at least two years of clinical RN experience. The position may involve evening or weekend hours and travel to clinical sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN is required; BSN may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience as required by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates student achievement and program outcomes.
• Employ diverse teaching strategies suited to learners and content.
• Guide students to develop professional nursing values and behaviors.
• Use assessment data to inform continuous course improvement and PSLO alignment.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
