Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care at Point Pleasant, operated by Elderwood Administrative Services, is hiring Nurse Technicians for pediatrics on day, night, and weekend‑only schedules. Start at $19 per hour with opportunities to work 12‑hour shifts and weekend options.

Join a compassionate care team serving medically fragile residents with supportive staff and orientation. Must have HS diploma, CPR/First Aid, and driver’s license; bilingual or additional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 21 years of age is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification are required.
• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level or higher.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer programs and applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist children and young adults with activities of daily living (personal care, toileting, mobility, meals).
• Provide individualized care based on care plans.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Perform trained clinical tasks (vital signs, ROM exercises, ostomy care after training).
• Document care and activities in the resident’s medical record.
• Encourage participation in activities supporting resident well‑being.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with nursing and inter-disciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Assist residents entering/exiting vehicles and transport to appointments as needed.
