Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with exams, and help coordinate care to ensure a positive experience.

The role involves preparing patients, documenting histories and vitals, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and families about health management. A supportive, mission-driven team awaits in Southeast Michigan.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited MA program with externship/internship; EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer programs may apply.
• MA certifications through CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC are acceptable.
• If credentialed, maintain current MA re-certification CEUs.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
