Trinity Health IHA Medical Group invites a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering excellent patient care. You will welcome patients, collect histories and vitals, assist with exams and procedures, and help coordinate care to improve health outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient education, medication administration, and collaboration within a mission-driven team serving Michigan communities.

Qualifications

• MA program and externship/Internship completion or equivalent (EMT/Paramedic track)
• Maintains CPR certification and MA recertification CEUs if credentialed
• 0–1 year of clinical experience preferred, or 2+ years if no MA program completed

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vitals, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers; support care coordination.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs
