Job summary

Providence Medical Group South is seeking a Medical Assistant II who supports licensed practitioners and performs duties to assist in patient care. You’ll be fully competent in clinical tasks for the assigned clinic and follow established policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Completion of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• Two years of medical training or equivalent military medical training (e.g., US Armed Forces).
• At least 1 year of MA clinic experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months MA experience.
