Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner under delegation to perform duties as directed.
• Perform MA I duties and be fully competent in clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures and regulations.
