Job summary

Providence in Oregon is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work under the supervision of a licensed practitioner, performing duties as directed to support patient care across our clinics.

This role builds on the MA I scope, requiring competence in clinical tasks and adherence to policies and safety standards. A $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible rehires strengthens a comprehensive benefits package that starts on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Completion of a medical assistant apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Minimum one year MA experience with vital signs, injections and medications.
• National Provider BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).
• Six months of healthcare experience and six months of MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Perform MA I duties and clinical tasks as directed and per policy.
• Adhere to established procedures, safety standards, and regulations.
