Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification. MA certification is preferred but not required; one year of healthcare experience is desired.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
