Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Medical Assistant training with certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' Medical Assistant experience in ambulatory care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and clinical support from front desk to provider room.
• Obtain vital signs, assess primary problem, and prepare patient for visit.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments.
• Assist with lab specimens and basic procedures (nebulizers, injections, EKGs).
