Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or demonstrated MA II competencies with 3 years of experience.
• Preferred certifications: ARMA, AMT, CCMA, AAMA, NCMA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient rooms and equipment for exams, tests and procedures.
• Interview patients and document health data and vital signs.
• Assist providers with procedures and tests, including specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in CIS/Centricity.
• Administer immunizations and phlebotomy per policy and protocol.
• Schedule and coordinate referrals and follow-up visits.
• Discharge patients with education materials and arrange next steps.
• Communicate with care team to ensure smooth patient hand-offs and patient safety.
