Job summary

OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch, part of OnPoint Medical Group, is seeking an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant to support physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. You will create a welcoming, safe environment for children and families while performing clinical tasks and patient intake.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, completion of an accredited healthcare program, BLS certification, strong computer skills, and prior MA experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families and prepare them for visits.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Update medications, allergies, immunizations, and other data in EMR.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing per training and regulations.
• Prepare and restock exam rooms; maintain safety checks.
• Support front-office tasks as needed (check-in, check-out, phones).
