Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant to join OnPoint Pediatrics at Highlands Ranch. The ideal candidate will support physicians and nurses, greet families, and help create a welcoming visit experience for children.

You will work in a busy pediatric practice with emphasis on compassionate care, accurate documentation, and teamwork. BLS certification and MA program completion are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT) or 2 years MA experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ability to maintain all certifications as per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families and prepare them for visits.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Review and update medications, allergies, immunizations, and history in EMR.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing within training and scope.
• Complete pre-visit planning per procedures.
• Monitor EMR messages and patient voicemails.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock rooms.
• Maintain clinic logs and safety checks.
• Support front-office tasks as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, staff.
• Attend meetings and training; assist with other duties.
