Software Placement Group is seeking a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) to join the Pediatrics department of a community healthcare organization in Warden, Washington. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive hourly wage and shift differentials, with a staff-focused environment serving a regional population.

Responsibilities include assisting providers, performing MA-C procedures within WA scope, taking vital signs, managing patient flow, and supporting pre- and post-visit tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Active license in the State of Washington as a Medical Assistant-Certified (WA MA-C) and credentialing through WA State Department of Health.
• 1 year of MA-C experience, including Pediatrics
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems
• Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification

Aufgaben

• Assist providers and clinical team members with back-office and patient-related tasks to support smooth patient workflow.
• Perform patient care procedures within scope of practice as defined by the facility under Washington State certification (injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws).
• Measure patient vital signs and manage rooming and patient flow.
• Handle pre-visit preparation, assist with the patient visit, and complete post-visit duties.
• Inform the provider of schedule changes that impact patient flow.
• Report to the Director
