Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• RHIT certification (AHIMA) or RN license is required.
• No specific prior work experience required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises coding and implements the division's compliance efforts, providing training and assistance.
• Develops and implements a chart review process for provider compliance with regulations.
• Conducts sessions with providers and staff to educate on carrier compliance rules.
• Leads documentation policy development for the division.
• Acts as liaison between providers, Compliance Office, and WUSBCS on coding issues.
• Advises physicians on billing problems and works with Reimbursement Supervisor to address denials.
• Performs chart extraction duties to maintain workflow.
• Ensures float coverage for supervised roles.
