Job summary

The Jane Pauley Community Health Center, Inc is seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Pediatrics) to join our pediatrics care team in Indiana. This role supports clinicians, manages patient flow, and ensures compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates are CMA/RMA certified, have ABHES/CAAHEP MA program completion, and hold a current BLS. Proficiency with EHR and familiarity with ambulatory settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
• Graduate of an ABHES or CAAHEP Medical Assistant program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care practices.
• Computer proficiency with accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock exam rooms for patient care.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, and assist providers as needed.
• Assist with procedures and direct patient care.
• Administer injections, perform EKGs and support treatment interventions.
• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen prep per CLIA standards.
• Triage calls and respond to clinical inquiries; coordinate referrals.
