Betances Health Center in New York, NY is seeking a Board-certified Pediatrician to provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents through age 21. You will manage immunizations, preventive services, and chronic conditions while supporting families in understanding tests and treatments.

You will supervise PAs/NPs, coordinate referrals with specialists, and ensure charting and billing accuracy, all in alignment with NYS standards and Chief Medical Officer guidance.

Formación

• Must be NYS licensed MD or DO in good standing.
• Board-certified in Pediatrics with 2+ years of experience.
• Active participation in keeping up with pediatric standards and guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients from birth to 21 years, including immunizations and chronic condition management.
• Review and update immunization status and perform preventive health services per AAP standards.
• Communicate clearly with patients/families and facilitate navigation of care and appointments.
• Initiate timely referrals and maintain bi-directional communication with specialists.
• Provide developmental guidance and adolescent counseling on substance use, HIV/pregnancy prevention, and tobacco use.
