Community Health Services in Hartford is seeking a Staff Pediatrician to join the Department of Pediatrics. The physician will deliver comprehensive care for children and adolescents while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in quality improvement and peer review activities.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. A valid Connecticut medical license and DEA/state narcotic registration (or eligibility) are required, along with background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Valid Connecticut medical licensure and DEA/state narcotic registration or eligibility.
• Deliver high quality patient care efficiently.
• Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and peers.
• Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation.
• Make evidence-based clinical decisions and follow quality measures.
• Comfort using electronic health records and computer systems.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities
