Our Multidisciplinary Healthy Active Living Team

Includes physicians, psychologists, certified nurse practitioners, dietitians, and exercise physiologists working together to provide comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans tailored to children and adolescents' needs.

Approach and Treatments

The team employs evidence-based treatments to address obesity and related conditions through a balanced approach that may include:

  1. Nutritional guidance
  2. Physical activity planning
  3. Behavioral therapy
  4. Safe, effective medication options
  5. Bariatric surgery
Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board eligible/certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, in general pediatrics or pediatric subspecialties. Board certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine is preferred but not required. Applicants must also be eligible for and able to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
