Our multidisciplinary Healthy Active Living team includes physicians, psychologists, certified nurse practitioners, dietitians, and exercise physiologists. We provide comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans tailored to children and adolescents’ needs.

The team uses evidence-based treatments to address obesity and related conditions through a balanced approach including:

  1. Nutritional guidance
  2. Physical activity planning
  3. Behavioral therapy
  4. Safe, effective medication options
  5. Bariatric surgery

Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be board eligible/certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, in general pediatrics or pediatric subspecialties. Board certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine is preferred but not required. Applicants must also be eligible for and able to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
