Job summary

N.E.W. Community Clinic in Green Bay, WI seeks an experienced Pediatrician to provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to infants, children, and adolescents. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to address medical, developmental, behavioral, and social needs of diverse families.

Ideal candidates have MD/DO with pediatric residency, Wisconsin license, and ability to credential with NEWCC. Board certification preferred; DEA and BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain Wisconsin licensure.
• Board Certified in Pediatrics preferred; Board Eligible must obtain certification within timeframe.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain and maintain registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain/maintain as required by NEWCC.
• Ability to complete NEWCC credentialing and privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and preventive care to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Obtain health histories and perform age-appropriate physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Deliver well-child care with preventive screenings, developmental assessments, and education.
• Evaluate growth and development and identify concerns needing intervention or referral.
• Assess immunization status and educate on current guidelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans considering medical, developmental, behavioral, social, cultural, and financial factors.
• Prescribe medications in line with Wisconsin law and standards.
• Order and interpret lab tests and other studies; coordinate with care teams.
• Perform minor procedures appropriate to pediatric primary care.
• Determine need for specialty referral or escalation of care.
• Coordinate referrals and connect families with community resources.
• Provide clear education to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain timely documentation in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
