Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Wisconsin RN and Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber licensure/credentialing.
• Current national certification appropriate to the pediatric patient population served.
• Prescriptive authority and required pharmacology education in Wisconsin.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain as required by NEWCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and preventive care, including histories, exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Develop individualized care plans considering medical, social, cultural, and financial contexts.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions within the scope of pediatric APN.
• Prescribe medications and treatments per Wisconsin laws and standards.
• Order and follow up on labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Provide age-appropriate preventive care, education, guidance, and caregiver support.
• Coordinate referrals to specialty care and community resources.
