Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking an Outpatient Pediatrician with minimal inpatient responsibilities to join a busy outpatient practice in Lewiston, Idaho. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care for children, including preventive services and acute visits, while contributing to newborn coverage as needed.

You will collaborate on newborn coverage, manage a caseload of healthy and acutely ill children, and participate in delivery-related coverage including C-sections, with newborns 36

Qualifications

• Medical degree and pediatric board certification or eligibility.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care.
• Competence in newborn assessment and initial management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality pediatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment in the outpatient setting.
• Manage routine pediatric care for approximately 25 patients per day.
• Participate in shared newborn call coverage.
• Provide newborn care for gestational ages 36 weeks and older.
• Support delivery-related coverage including C-sections.
• Coordinate care as needed for patients requiring inpatient attention.
