Job summary

Pediatrician position in rural Northeastern Oregon seeks an experienced clinician to provide comprehensive pediatric primary care in an outpatient clinic.

The role features a four 10-hour day schedule with on-site support, medical scribes, and collaboration with behavioral health and lab staff. New graduates are welcome. Relocation assistance and a competitive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active Oregon medical license or eligible for credentialing.
• Willingness to practice in a rural, community-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, preventative health visits, and acute illness management to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• See an average of 15–20 patients per day with 1:1 dedicated medical support staff.
• Participate in a manageable 1:4 shared call rotation alongside four experienced physicians.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with dedicated scribe support for clinicians seeing 15+ patients per day.
• Collaborate with on-site behavioral health specialists, laboratory staff, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Foster long-term, trusting relationships with children and families in the rural community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care, preventative health visits, and acute illness management to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
