The successful candidate will evaluate and treat infants, children, and adolescents, perform clinical assessments, order diagnostic tests, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality outpatient care. IL licensure is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and residency completed.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics is required.
• Active Illinois medical licensure or eligibility is required.
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric/outpatient clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat infants, children, and adolescents.

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Pediatrician in DuPage County, IL for our client, providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents within an outpatient healthcare setting. This role will evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric health concerns, perform clinical assessments and procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible physician with experience in pediatrics, urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related clinical setting.

Responsibilities as the Pediatrician:

• Pediatric Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of pediatric health conditions affecting infants, children, and adolescents.
• Clinical Assessment: Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual clinical needs.
• Diagnostic Care: Order and interpret diagnostic testing to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.
• Patient & Family Education: Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, follow-up instructions, and preventive health guidance to patients and families.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals and specialists to support comprehensive and continuous patient care.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records while supporting high-quality pediatric care.

Qualifications for the Pediatrician:

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an appropriate residency program are required.
• Licensure: Active or eligible Illinois physician licensure is required.
• Certification: Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics and current BLS certification are required.
• Experience: 1+ year of pediatric, outpatient, acute care, or related clinical experience is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine, patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and care coordination is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems is required.
