Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a Gaming Technology Specialist to lead gaming system implementation and therapy support within the Child Life team. You will install, test, and maintain XR devices and gaming peripherals across inpatient and outpatient settings to enhance patient engagement and therapeutic play.

The role involves training staff, developing programs, collaborating with clinicians, and documenting outcomes while advancing the Extended Reality Program across the hospital.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of related experience in gaming and/or health care settings.
Experience with gaming systems and XR technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides gaming implementation, strategy, training and support to the program.
Leads gaming system installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting.
Coordinates with clinicians to develop care plans involving gaming.
Trains Child Life team and other departments in operating gaming tech.
Leads projects involving XR tech and presents to stakeholders.
