Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a part-time pediatric wound/ostomy nurse at Milwaukee Hospital to provide specialized wound and ostomy care. You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for pediatric patients and families.

The role requires 2+ years of nursing experience, pediatric experience preferred, and Wisconsin RN licensure with BLS. A Wound Ostomy certification is preferred, with certification within 6 months if not current.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; 3–4 years pediatric nursing preferred.
• Wisconsin RN license required; BLS certification required.
• Wound ostomy certification preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not current.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage care for pediatric wound/skin/ostomy patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Delegate patient activities to appropriate staff and ensure quality outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
