Job summary

The position supports outpatient clinics at the Austin HOPE Center and may involve expansion as needs evolve. Strong pediatric training, Illinois licensure, and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
• MD/DO degree with pediatrics specialization; Illinois licensure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular examinations of newborns and children to assess development.
• Evaluate sick children and gather information on symptoms.
• Diagnose conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications with clear administration instructions.
• Manage mental health screening and provide preventive advice to families.
• Coordinate care with subspecialists and multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain updated patient records and advocate for patients and families.
