Overview

Corewell Health Children’s is seeking a compassionate and innovative Pediatric Weight Management Physician to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Troy, MI. The physician will provide comprehensive, family-centered care for children and adolescents, including medical evaluation, treatment planning, and collaborative management with the multidisciplinary pediatrics team. The ideal candidate is committed to evidence-based practice, health equity, and empowering families to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes. This position offers a supportive clinical environment, opportunities for program development, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on children’s health across Southeast Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, family-centered medical evaluation and treatment planning for pediatric weight management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatrics team to coordinate care and management plans.
• Apply evidence-based practices and promote health equity in clinical care and family engagement.
• Develop and contribute to weight management programs and initiatives.
• Engage in medical student and resident education; participate in teaching and supervision as appropriate.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement opportunities as available.
• Maintain faculty appointment through Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
