Job summary

Impact to Health is seeking a Compassionate Pediatric Ventilator Patient Specialist in Southborough, MA. You will support ALS and pediatric patients relying on ventilator therapy, serving as their clinical partner throughout care, educating families with empathy, and ensuring safe ventilator management.

You will strengthen patient outcomes and support families during challenging times. The role requires licensing, pediatric ventilation experience, and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as an RRT or CRT preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable depending upon state licensure laws.
• Must be licensed in the primary state of home office as required by state law and provide a copy of license to the location.
• Pediatric and/or ALS Ventilation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for pediatric ventilator patients and caregivers, offering support and clear communication.
• Conduct patient assessments with sensitivity to medical needs and family dynamics.
• Provide education to caregivers on ventilator use, safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust ventilator equipment for pediatric patients.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and interactions for continuity of care.
