Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to join the Wellstar Pediatric Center. This physician will provide comprehensive pediatric urologic care for infants, children, and adolescents, collaborating with subspecialists, surgeons, APs, and primary care pediatricians.

The role emphasizes high-quality, family-centered care, teaching, and participation in multidisciplinary clinics within a large health system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Urology Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
• DEA certification or eligibility.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Perform pediatric urologic surgical procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and care coordination.
• Collaborate with pediatric nephrology, neonatology, pediatric surgery, oncology, and primary care teams.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
• Contribute to teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and other learners.
