Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to join the Wellstar Pediatric Center. The physician will provide comprehensive pediatric urologic care for infants, children, and adolescents while collaborating with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and primary care pediatricians.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school and board-eligible or board-certified in Urology.
• Completed Urology Residency followed by a Pediatric Urology Fellowship.
• Georgia licensure eligibility and DEA certification or eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric urologic conditions across age groups.
• Perform pediatric urologic surgical procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and care coordination.
• Collaborate with nephrology, neonatology, surgery and primary care teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and long-term management.
• Engage in quality improvement and program development.
• Contribute to teaching opportunities with students and residents.
