Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Urology seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our growing pediatric surgical team at the region's only Children's Hospital. The role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care, including office-based procedures and operating room work.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room.
• Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues.
• Engage in teaching activities and quality improvement initiatives.
