Job summary

PM Pediatrics Management Group, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a pediatric urgent care setting in Parkville, MD. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care under physician supervision and supporting both clinical and administrative office operations.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience is required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric hospital unit, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred.
• Active state nursing license or active compact state licensure from the state you reside.
• Experience with nursing procedures (IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, medication administration).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
• Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology, clinic processes, and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
• Ability to assess rapidly the critical presentation of pediatric patients.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and nonverbally.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, vitals, intake, and prioritize patient care.
• Assist physician with patient care, including procedures and monitoring.
• Maintain pediatric pharmacology knowledge and assist in lab quality checks.
• Manage exam room supplies and sterilization; ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Support efficient urgent care flow and throughput metrics.
