Job summary

The Nemours Foundation is seeking a Radiographer to join our pediatric urgent care clinic team in Florida. This role focuses on obtaining and developing pediatric x-ray films and delivering high-quality patient care across three Orlando-area locations.

Responsibilities include triage, assisting with procedures, ensuring equipment readiness, and documenting care in patient records. Requires ARRT, FL license, and BLS on hire; hours span 10am–8pm with a 20% weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required and completion of an approved Radiology Program.
• Minimum of one year pediatric hospital, outpatient or urgent care radiology experience.
• Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT certification required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required on hire.
• New graduates must obtain Florida Radiologic Tech License and ARRT within 90 days of hire.
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Must work across 3 urgent care locations within 30-minute radius; facilities operate 10am-8pm.
• Casual role with a minimum of 20 hours per month plus one major and one minor holiday per year.
• Weekend shift differential of 20%.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and develops pediatric x-ray films per protocol.
• Triages and provides quality pediatric patient care on shift.
• Maintains cleanliness of office and clinical environment.
• Creates a welcoming environment and acts as patient advocate.
• Documents assessments and care in patient records.
• Coordinates x-ray films to be viewed by radiologist or for follow-up care.
