Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Radiographer I for our Urgent Care Waterford Lakes location. This full-time role focuses on pediatric x-ray imaging and delivering patient-centered care on shift, including triage and assisting in procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Florida ARRT license, and BLS certification. Pediatric radiology experience is preferred; this position spans three urgent care sites within a 30-minute radius with shifts

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and approved radiology program required.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric radiology experience.
• Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license required; ARRT certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required on hire.
• New grads must obtain Florida Radiologic Tech License and ARRT within 90 days of hire.
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

• Capture pediatric x-ray films per protocol.
• Triage and assist in procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of clinical environment.
• Document assessments, actions, and care in patient records.
• Coordinate x-ray films for radiologist review.
• Transport x-rays and lab specimens as needed.
• Operate and care for radiology equipment.
